Hi, I'm Craig. My wife Kimber and I started Cooper Family Garage Doors because we kept hearing the same story from folks in our neighborhood — a garage door guy showed up, quoted a huge number, pushed a full replacement when a spring would've done the job, and was gone before the check cleared. We figured Southern California deserved better than that. So we built the kind of garage door company we'd want working on our own home.
We're a husband-and-wife team at the core. Kimber handles the calls, the scheduling, and most of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps us honest and on time. I'm the one who shows up at your door with the tools. When you call us, you're not getting a call center in another state — you're getting us, and that's the whole point.
We live here. We raise our family here. The same streets we drive to your house are the ones we drive to pick up groceries and take the kids to practice. Serving Orange County and the Inland Empire isn't a marketing territory to us — it's home. That changes how you treat people. You can't cut corners on a neighbor and expect to run into them at the hardware store next weekend.
Our rules are simple. We answer the phone when it rings. We show up in the window we promised. We tell you what's actually wrong with your door, not what pays the best commission. And we only install parts we'd trust on our own garage — springs, openers, rollers, cables, the works. If a repair will get you another five good years, we'll tell you that before we ever pitch a replacement.
