Coto de Caza is gated community living at its finest — custom homes from the '90s and 2000s, most with two or three-car garages and plenty of Mediterranean, Spanish Colonial, and Tuscan-style architecture. We work throughout the community around the golf course, up in the hills near Wagon Wheel, and along the eastern ridges. The climate here is drier than coastal Orange County, but you still get Santa Ana winds that slam doors hard and kick up debris into tracks. The heat in summer can bake torsion springs and age weather seals faster. We see a lot of cable wear and roller damage from the wind, plus openers that fail after years of heavy daily use.
