Local garage door service from Cooper Family Garage Doors.
I'm Craig Cooper, and my wife Kimber and I run Cooper Family Garage Doors out of the Inland Empire. Yorba Linda is one of the cities we come to regularly — the Nixon Library, the horse-trail neighborhoods, the newer hilltop developments. We've worked on homes all across the city, from Sycamore Canyon to Fairhaven to Stonehaven. No call centers, no subcontractors. CSLB license #1153364. Call us at (909) 766-9426.
Yorba Linda bills itself as the "Land of Gracious Living," and the homes back that up. Bigger lots, heavier doors, three-car garages that are the norm rather than the exception. The developments that went up in the 1980s and 1990s — Stonehaven, Fairhaven, Sycamore Canyon — are now 30 to 40 years old, and the original hardware is showing it. Torsion springs on heavier 18-foot or 20-foot doors carry more load and wear faster. Then there's the Santa Ana winds. Every fall, those canyon winds rip through here and they don't just knock things over — they stress garage door hardware, accelerate corrosion on exposed metal tracks, and knock doors off balance. I've gotten calls from Yorba Linda homeowners the morning after a wind event with doors that opened partway and stopped. The hardware was already at the edge and the wind pushed it over.
With the bigger homes and heavier doors common in Yorba Linda, spring replacements are the most common call we get here — and they're not small jobs. Three-car garages often have two independent torsion spring setups, and when one goes, I'll always recommend replacing both at the same time rather than waiting for the second to snap six months later. We also handle LiftMaster opener installs and repairs (the MyQ-enabled units work well for Yorba Linda homeowners who travel), cable replacements, bent track repair, and full door replacements. If you've got an original wood carriage door from the '80s that's warped and heavy, we can replace it with a modern insulated steel door that's lighter on the springs and looks just as good.
We're not a franchise, and Kimber and I aren't farming out your call to a subcontractor. I do the work myself. You get a straight quote before I start, USA-made torsion springs, and LiftMaster openers — not whatever's on clearance. CSLB #1153364 means we're licensed and accountable. We've built this business on referrals, which only works if we do the job right. A lot of our Yorba Linda customers find us through neighbors in the same development because good work spreads.
We're available Monday through Saturday, 7:30am to 7:30pm. If your garage door isn't working right, give us a call at (909) 766-9426 and we'll get you sorted out.
